Bear Mauler was a 1998 Dodge Dakota monster truck owned by KC's Fireworks out of Australia. It was formerly Bear Foot (owned and operated by 2Xtreme before its sale to Paul Shafer) and later became Monster Thirst in November 2005.
Bear Foot was imported from the USA by Clive Featherby and KC's Fireworks in 2005. The truck, originally owned by Paul Shafer, arrived in Sydney after five months of customs and shipping holdups. Bear Mauler was the name given to the newly imported Bear Foot truck for its next appearance, which also acted as Darrel McLeary's driving debut. This look itself was short-lived, with the signing of a major sponsorship deal and complete visual transformation taking place in late 2005. Where it would become Monster Thirst and later Captain Crusher.
