Avenger was developed as a last-minute replacement for the discarded Bugsys Revenge identity, making its debut at the second South Pacific World Finals to a capacity crowd. Jim Koehler drove the truck at the event and won the Freestyle championship. He would return for the third South Pacific World Finals to defend his title and win his second Australian Freestyle championship. The truck competed at various events throughout its nearly three-year run, driven primarily by Corey Clark and Jaye Featherby.
