Freak Show was built in Yandina, Queensland, by Kreg Christensen and the Extreme Monster Trucks Australia team, with the intention of easily performing wheelies, rollovers and backflip attempts. It was fitted with a roll cage and sported a uniquely mounted reverse body, constructed by Lindsay Houston of LDI Kustoms and was the first purpose-built rollover truck in the country. The truck made various attempts at completing a backflip, but none resulted in a continuous full rotation; however, the truck did make several attempts that resulted in it landing upright in a somersault fashion.
In July of 2010, EMT Events (now known as Monster Events) purchased the truck (among others) and continued to run the Freak Show identity. Kreg Christensen was marketed to attempt to double backflip the truck prior to the Third South Pacific World Finals in Brisbane, QLD. However, the truck was unable to complete the rotation due to the ramp's instability. In February of 2012, the truck ran with a new red body under the name Leroy and later became the first Freak chassis.
