Battle Born remains one of the most unique cases in Australian Monster Truck history. The truck was initially planned to debut under the name 'Rust Bucket'; various renders and designs were constructed surrounding the identity. In September of 2019, the truck was wrapped with one of the aforementioned designs.
However, in December 2020, Marcovich shared an entirely new render, completed by Master of Faster Graphics, sporting a new name: Battle Born. The truck was wrapped a month later (see left image) in January, and by June, it appeared to be complete. Yet the identity never ran. The truck was later sold to Monster Trucks Pty Ltd and became the second 'Sampson'.
