The first Aussie Predator was imported to Australia by Global Pyrotechnics in 2001 and was formerly 'Dream Master' out of the U.S. Upon its arrival on the Sunshine Coast, the truck received an overhaul, primarily in the form of repainting the chassis and applying new graphics to the body. The truck's new look saw the addition of a rear wing taken from a sprint car, as well as a replacement of the back bed from the original Chevrolet to a Ford F-Series.
The truck remained under ownership with Global Pyrotechnics until 2003, when it was sold to Ipswich-based promoter Motor Madness. The truck would go on to become 'The Boss' in 2008.
